To see me in action...

Here is the website that I talked about in the post below to watch me near the cathedral in Santiago. I am going to talk to my parents tonight to set up a specific time. I will probably have my mom post tonight so that she can say what time we set up.

Wooooo Hooooo!!!! I will be watching, I've never been on this side of the camera before.

Here is where you need to stand: The camera faces the front of the cathedral. There are stairs that go to the right and to the left as you enter/come out of the church.

When you come out of the church, down the stairs off to the sides, come down on (your) right side. Pass through the little gate and turn immediately right. Follow that short concrete wall (about 20' long), stand at the corner and walk towards the building that is facing you about 10-30'. The web cam is high on the upper right corner of the building you are facing.

In the summer their easily was over a thousand people in the square as soon as mass was over and difficult for Marc to see us. We chose a time later in the day when there weren't as many people. But I'm not seeing many people so it should be easy to spot you both.

Jump up and down a lot and wear something really colorful, you are isty bitsy in the webcam and move sporadically, and with jerky movements.

Were you around when the little train stopped by the church? It's now 4:45 am (our time)?

Is it raining? Cold?

Tomorrow you will start walking to Finisterre! Woooo Hooooo! You Rock! This is a good place to spend more than one night, to help you rejuvenate. The ocean is quite healing. Say a little "Hello" for me when you touch the last mile marker at the lighthouse, please.

Say "HELLO" for me when you stand at the edge of the "Atlantic Ocean" in Finisterre for me, please.

I will be thinking of you all day today as you celebrate your arrival in Santiago! Stop by the Tourismo Office to see if anything special if happening while you're there. Usually stuff happens on the weekend, but you never know.

Have Fun! Congratulations, on your journey thus far!

There is an Alberque in Finisterre you can stay at for one night. I don't know what their rules are if there aren't many people, you can always ask.

I believe I stayed at the "Anchor House"...it's on the way to the lighthouse. You can get a single or double room. I think they might have some rooms with more than two beds.

How do you feel today?

Sending lots of Love and some hugs,
AriZona
